Irish Whipped Cream

I created a chocolate cake with Guinness for my recent St. Paddy’s meal. I had all of the food set out and wanted to use a “rainbow” of fruit as part of my table setting. I decided to make a little “well” of whipped cream inside my fruit dish to go with my cake. It was really good! Here is the recipe.

Irish Whipped Cream

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 tsp of confectioners sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla

2 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream liqueur

Combine the cream and sugar in a medium mixing bowl. With kitchen-aid mixer set to a medium-high speed, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Add the Baileys to the cream and mix on low until fully incorporated.

To make the base of this drink, pour some freshly brewed coffee in a mug with one teaspoon of sugar -or to your preference. Add  an ounce of Irish whiskey (or more, if you like). Then top with additional whipped cream.
